Honoring USKEB Members and Gathering Fulbright Alumni Community

June 11, 2025, Pristina- The United States–Kosovo Educational Exchange Board (USKEB) community, joined by representatives of the U.S. Embassy Pristina, Kosovo, Ministry of Education, Sciene, Technology and Innovation (MESTI), and Fulbright alumni, gathered to honor the exceptional contributions of the inaugural USKEB members, who have completed their two full-term mandates.
Mr. Ralan Hill, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, and Ms. Bora Shpuza, Chief of Cabinet at MESTI, as bilateral partners of the Fulbright Program in Kosovo, presented certificates of appreciation recognizing the board’s commitment to advancing education and fostering mutual understanding between the people of Kosovo and the United States. Mr. Hill also awarded a certificate of appreciation to the USKEB staff at American Councils for International Education Kosova in recognition of their efforts in support of the program.
Ms. Kelsey De Rinaldis (U.S. Embassy representative), Ms. Qamile Sinanaj-Rexhaj (MESTI representative), Mr. Kreshnik Hoti (academia representative), Ms. Dajana Berisha (civil society representative), and Ms. Nora Latifi-Jashari (Fulbright alumni representative) received awards and warm applause in recognition of their expertise, professionalism, and dedicated service to USKEB.
Also, during the event, Ms. Luljeta Plakolli-Kasumi, Ms. Iliriana Gashi, and Mr. Trim Tërnava were announced as the newly appointed board members representing academia, civil society, and Fulbright alumni, respectively.

The evening also brought together Fulbright U.S. students and scholars concluding their academic year in Kosovo, alongside many Fulbright alumni and newly selected grantees.
